Hire Agreement and Disclaimer for Giant Games
Weather and Cancellations
We'd love to be able to promise you a sunny day for your event but unfortunately this does not always happen . If you find you have to cancel your booking due to poor weather then there will be no charge as long as we are advised prior to us leaving our premises to deliver. Any deposit already paid will be returned in these circumstances.
Our Service
Our games are supplied unsupervised and it is the hirers responsibility to ensure that sufficient adult supervision is provided through out the hire period.
Timings
The delivery/start and collection/finish times will be agreed at the time of booking.
Safety
All of our games are designed to be as safe as possible.To avoid accidents, and to ensure that rules are followed, all games should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during use. Any persons/organisation hiring our games are responsible/liable for any damage or injuries occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. Persons using the games do so at their own risk.
Standards
We take great pride in the reputation we have established as a company for our friendly reliable service where the customer really does come first. You can be assured that we will do all we can to make sure your event is a success.
These guidelines are for the safety of all people using the games, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to. Any damage or theft caused to the games by improper use, lack of care or of a malicious nature must be paid for. Our company cannot accept responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using the equipment.
For your information, safety and enjoyment we recommend the following:
- A responsible adult must supervise children at all times whilst using the games.
- Children should be refrained from pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others and to cause damage to the games.
- No food, drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the games.
- All shoes must be removed before standing on Get Knotted, Ludo or Snakes & Ladders.
- No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near the games.
- No smoking, fires or barbeques to be used near the games.
- No pets, toys or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the games.
- Get Knotted, Ludo and Snakes & Ladders must not be used in the rain as they can become slippery and therefore dangerous.
I have read the above hire agreement/disclaimer and fully understand and accept the conditions as above. I am aware that whilst in my care I am fully responsible for the games and persons using it. I will pay for any loss or damage that may occur, this will include the games being returned in an unacceptable condition, i.e. if it is in a dirty or muddy condition, I will be expected to pay an additional cleaning charge of 20€ per item.
